I’m Ken Hendrix, the young guy that says the crazy things. Probably under-qualified and over-confident, but nevertheless called to be a voice in the Kingdom of God today. I’m obsessive and contradictory, controversial and adamant, and humbly arrogant in Christ! I truly believe I’m a gift from God. Why This Blog Exists
Heretics. I’ve had people ask “why the title Heretics? Doesn’t that create a negative connotation?” Yeah it does. However, here’s the thing, every person who ever presented an alternative change to the status quo, the stronghold of religion, and the tide of conformity has been labeled a heretic. This blog doesn’t just exist to be a platform for my soapboxes (although I make no apologies if I jump up and down on one from time to time) but instead I see it as a platform for equipping other heretics on how to build bigger soapboxes. Maybe you don’t believe everything exactly the way I do (I might call you crazy) but I’m not requiring my readers to think like me, instead I want you to wrestle with the questions that no one is asking. I want you to fight with how you are making disciples and not just how you are preaching your message.
